Sup Fam! I have a 2024 698 RVE. I love the bike and is by far the most fun bike ive owned/driven. Im having issues with my running light and generic warning light on. Ducati wants to charge saying its not under warranty. I typically wouldnt give a **** but I keep having random issues with the bike. Random things keep falling off the bike and I think the dealership is getting fed up with me the rear brake reservoir fell off, mirrors, handguard, liscense plate hanger, and rear gas tank bolts. Any sugestions???

Thumpers shed fasteners. It’s a basic fact. Blue or orange thread-locker, zip ties, and safety wire can be your friend, but keep thread-locker off the plastics. I’ve lost three screws so far: RHS seat screw (twice), rear screw on the header pipe heat shield, and most recently the one that secures rear brake reservoir to the plastic guard/mount.

Screw-on mirrors are an issue with most bikes. Lock nut torque and/or thread locker solves that issue.

Haven’t had any issues with lights. Headlight and DRLs are always on for models sold in Canada and, oddly, China, and there’s no DRL switch on those bikes.

I got tired of tightening things up so Im running it naked with no mirrors or handguards. Despite how much locktight the dealership and I have used on the bar ends for the handguards mine keep falling off. 😂 I do run it hard though.

Give orange "high strength removable" thread locker a shot for your bar ends. Better than blue but less permanent than red.
