    Switched power for radar/gps?

On the 821 - Item 06 is the Navigator power. Fed from the rear fuse box 13. Red/Black wire on fuse 1. Black -ve. I'm not sure if that will help you. Maybe a friendly Ducati dealership could check the 950 wiring diagram/ or if there is a GPS feed. ??

'Strada electrical tip: Switched live under seat without hacking the loom.

Just to share something that worked for me. Based on: I don't like to chop up an unmolested wiring loom and am not a fan of those piggyback scotchlock splices but did require ignition-switched 12v live under the seat (Gear indicator) A part of the 'Strada's touring credentials are the 2 'Hella'...

Andreani front suspension low vs standard on Hyperstrada 2014?

Mine I get nearer 225mm on the sidestand (It's not straightforward to measure) In a straight line along the tube it's 220mm from ground to pivot. Centre stand is 230mm ground to pivot For a 2013 (believed) standard height -A

Andreani front suspension low vs standard on Hyperstrada 2014?

Hi and welcome. Above is from a thread here - Suspension and Height Differences between Hyperstrada 939 Model Years - I'm sure that you've seen it, although it is the 2016 version. https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/Hypermotard/2013/Hyperstrada/Hyperstrada/STAND/198/2/0/198...

    A worrying trend?

Interesting point Nick. I'm sure the 698 'is what it is' - A mental big single for hooligans (apologies all:D) i.e. not a plush tourer, not an eco-commuter, not bad -just a horse for a certain course. Maybe some buyers didn't appreciate that. I grew up thinking you have to save up for a bike...

A question about the startor motor orientation

There is this from the workshop manual - But "Counter clockwise from the power take-off side" is confusing -electrical power or motor power I don't know. Can you test it with a battery? I read here a similar problem -...

    Yellowjackets / wasps

😂 Never had a problem, myself. Your wasps have good taste! Maybe something on the bike smells nice to them. Oddly, hardly any wasps this year where I am but lots last few years. -A

Installing Aprilia (Eldor) Coil Packs on Hypermotard/Hyperstrada

I did the same.(not the chokes though) I have to say it's not a nice feeling taking wire cutters to something that's not actually broken to replace it with something unknown. But it all worked out fine!

Any UK Strada-ists waiting for Brook suspension/ Adriani/ new forks?

Thanks Brad (That has made me feel a bit better about it all! :) ) Yes, I'm really looking forward to trying them out. I'm sure I'll see the improvement. Are you getting along with yours?

Any UK Strada-ists waiting for Brook suspension/ Adriani/ new forks?

I wish I hadn't watched that, Brad - It doesn't look too bad a job, and nothing to lose by having a go. I just paid up for new forks. I guess Brook suspension are just covering themselves from a possible fail. Thanks anyway. 😭

Any UK Strada-ists waiting for Brook suspension/ Adriani/ new forks?

Cheers Brad. That's the kind of explanation that I got - the 50/50 & often damaged on disassembly. The forks don't even look too bad. Not obviously pitted to my eyes. They have a general fork rebuild charge of £198 which included the cartridge fitting. They seem a decent Co. having had a rear...

Any UK Strada-ists waiting for Brook suspension/ Adriani/ new forks?

To celebrate not selling my 'Strada I decided to treat it to some Adriani cartridges and sent the forks away to Brook suspension, Bradford. Had a leaking seal also. Am told the forks are too badly pitted, that they can't be removed from the Alloy fork bottoms easily without damage for...
