A couple of days ago I filtered to the front of a big traffic queue with the clutch in, knocked it down to what I was sure was first, then tried to launch.
It was in 3rd.
Launch it didn't.
I need one of these.

0.8mm?
I came across this site in my trawls.

Useful info (if it's correct - always a danger)

Thanks for the tips.
I couldn't see a gap size in the owners manual.
I didn't check the toolbag either! - I didn't think I could get it back in the same shape that I took it off.
I'll go shopping for a 14mm long reach plug spanner.
Cheers gents.
Hi.
Looking at the coils on these 821's I guess the plug lives a long way down the hole.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a recommended plug spanner. (delivery to UK)
Also - Is there a correct spark plug gap for these? Or do these twin-earth plugs come pre-gapped?
Thanks all.

As Nicks experience, Valtermtousa gave me a good service and were very quick delivering. No customs duty on mine.
I may have seen a bad review or 2 on actual clutch parts from them but I don't it was the sellers fault.

I am about to buy a set of 4 used Aprillia 857084, 857501 coils
Anyone here want 2 of them?
Will be 1 short and 1 long lead coil
Will sell for half what I pay - about £71.25 for 2 at the moment, may change depending on exchange rate when I order. I'd have to put any postage on top.
Unless...
I will ask them.
It's not really bad and I'd not noticed in regular riding.
It's only when (stood in garage) trying to turn the throttle in very slow tiny increments it sticks/released a fraction.
Not sure how that translates into road riding but I'd prefer it silky-smooth.
The return spring...
I've only had the bike a few weeks. I'm still learning it.
The heated grips were a bonus as the shop didn't know they were installed.
I finish work at 1.00 today, then off to Cornerspeed Ducati in Nottinghamshire for a Rexxer remap (Wehey!)(surging issue)
So I will enquire with them about the...
Hi
As title- I notice that when I rotate my throttle very slowly the movement is not smooth.
It 'sticks' then 'slips' in its movement like it is binding and is hard to control the position precisely.
It doesn't feel too obvious in normal riding.
The grips are Ducati installed heated grips...
-That did cross my mind, Gatdammit.
I wondered if that is why they were discontinued by Rizoma.(?)
In 'theory' it should torque down through the bracket as though it's just a washer under the bolt.
but I agree it is not smartest place to mount something.

British roads and weather are just like off-roading sometimes:).
I'm trying to reduce the brown sludge deposited up the radiator after a typical journey.
For the rear I find the stock license plate position doing most of the work but I am looking to go this route. If it's good enough for a GS...
