Following cold start this morning, in underground parking, the pipe was glowing orange by the time water temp readout switched from LO to 104F/40C. Left the lot and headed up the street for about 200 yds. Pipe was still orange. Pulled over, hit the kill switch, waited 5 seconds, started back up...

RTFM on the menus. It works. You have to hold the button down for a couple of seconds to back out of a menu, but sometimes it might be looking for you to hit enter (turn signal cancel). You also can't back out of the top level menu.

Update on the Peak Design Qi2 charger mount: The charger comes with a USB-C cable. Magnifying glass on the fine print indicates that it will only put out 5 Watts if operated using the (optional) USB-A cable which plugs into the 698's USB-A aux port. Full Qi2 output requires a 24 Watt power...
