    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

It can be added to both. Keep in mind, you don't need alot when applying it to the pins .

Repairing Ducati Hypermotard ECU (Dashboard Panel)

Only 1100/796 you can reset the TPS. The only way to reset the TPS on the 821,939 and 950 is to go with the Rexxer ($600)as you mentioned. Other than that these is not another way. I have the Lonlec cables to the OBD to USB cable and trying with Guzidiah, Jpdiag and Melcodiag. They haven't been...

Repairing Ducati Hypermotard ECU (Dashboard Panel)

I wonder if we use a ferrite bead/choke like the new Aprilia coils have(and most household electrical things). I'm curious if you could just get a bead kit and apply attach them to the OEM coil leads. It should quiet down/eliminate stray voltage from the coils if they are placed at the coils...

    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

If it's not a mid harness short/high resistance open then what I tell people that ride in the rain is to disconnect every connector and apply dielectric grease to each one then reassemble. Ducati is know for electrical issues and this will assure a solid connection and to seal out water.

Repairing Ducati Hypermotard ECU (Dashboard Panel)

Is there any part inside the dash/ecu that you can see where you could beef it up and less prone to stray voltage spikes? Like a diode or a ferrite bead or something? Just curious if there is a replacement circuitry component that could assure it never happen again (other than the coils). Also...

    Swing Arm Axle

I ride in the rain. The rule of thumb is "if it's dry when it's time to go to work then ride. Rain in the afternoon is a problem for future Tim". If that hole is plugged with crap and you spray the inside out with water then (without the hub being removed) then that water would be trapped and...

    Swing Arm Axle

If you ment with water, i wouldnt. I wouldn't want you to have water sitting in their that couldn't drain. Air compressor, definitely do that if you are able to

    Swing Arm Axle

I wouldn't . You could use an air compressor and spray it into the hole in the bottom of the eccentric and then blow it the other way.

    Swing Arm Axle

No, no off road for me. It's just 30,000 miles of riding . There is no plus for the hyper swingarm. There is a tiny hole in the bottom of the eccentric part of the swingarm. This let's water out and small dirt but once it's bugged it just becomes a bucket to collect crap. It won't hurt anything...

    Swing Arm Axle

It's not coming from the wheel or anything around the wheel. There is whole in the swingarm cavity at the chain cut out and I believe at the very front of the swingarm. It acts as a scoop for dirt and stuff. Someone makes a cover for the Multistrada hole but nothing for us. That's after 30k miles

    Remapping a Hyper 939

I get the same stumble between 4-5k rpm in any of the modes. I prefer the sport mode because I like the snap and twitchiness of the bike (other than the 4-5k stumbling and popping and surfing) especially after installing the light weight flywheel. Makes the bike very agressive, a very controlled...

    Remapping a Hyper 939

Yes. It's already in the mail. Says it will be here on Monday. I will run it with the RB(or power commander if this doesn't resolve the issue) and see what happens. It makes sense to me as to why it would work and no tuner would work if what Yamen said is true. This just changes the ambient air...

    Remapping a Hyper 939

The O2 sensors stop reading after 5k(might be somewhere between 4-5k) so after that I'm thinking it would go to the Rapidbike and ECU but I'm not sure. Either way, if it's running rich I can take fuel out with the RB.

    Remapping a Hyper 939

I have alwyhad the surging and popping and stuttering between 4-5k rpm from day one. I have done many many mods in the name of performance and to resolve this. I have reaced throtlebodies and sensors many times over only for the dealer to say it's normal. I have a RB tuner but will be adding a...

    939 Rough running, wont rev/accelerate

Usually when these won't rev last 5k ish rpm it's the clutch sensor or the kickstand sensor because it is in protection mode. Unplug one of the leads to the clutch sensor in the lever(the circuit is closed when the lever is pulled and open when it's not pulled in) and see what happens.

I just went with the Aprilia coils. You can pick up a case of connector ends and crimp tool for like $30.

Them Nuda's are bad ass. I love the sound. I would totally own one but they weren't sold in the states.

What is your goal? Peak power numbers? Longevity of the engine? Etc. If you plan on doing more upgrades to the engine then the T800 would be worth looking into since you can swap maps. The down side is you only get 2 maps with the purchase(might only be 1). You have to purchase different maps...

    Lithium Battery on Hyperstrada

I know this is getting way off topic but.. So, would the average aggressive rider benefit from lowering the triple tree on the fork if the rest of the suspension is upgraded with aftermarket pieces? If so, how far was the sweet spot to mess around with? I have the Andreani cartridges and Mupo...
