    BoosterPlug vs. Rapid Bike Easy

Only the 2 rear screws need to be pulled from the rectifier mount. The front slides into rubber mounts. I made a star bit to fit in there to remove the 2 forward screws ,messed with it for hours only to see that the whole assembly pops off the rubber grommets once the 2 rear are removed.

    Hyper Clutch pack/basket life

Also, gear slipping Into neutral suggests it's not posatively enguaging. If that is the case then there is an adjustment under the stator cover. They make a tool to get it spot on but some say you can eyeball it and be good to go. This coming out of adjustment is usually due to the bike hitting...

    Aftermarket fenders

I got them used so you wod have to search around and be patient to get used but they are $350-400 for both sides. Slingshot racing and this company are 2 places that have them but if you search around you might find cheaper. Ducati Hyperstrada Carbon Fiber Parts Index

    Aftermarket fenders

I second ducait Omaha. The Chineese carbon pieces look nice but most need to be trimmed and fitment can be off a bit, they also can bennifit from a uv coat of paint to prevent browning over time. I have a few chinese pieces and they came out nicely in the end but they took some trimming and...

Front brake vibration / tried everything

Those bobbins are supposed to be snug. They are semi floating design. Same premise as floating but there is a wave spring/washer between the C clip and the disc itsself. It shouldn't spin by hand. There is a nice technique using a bolt that fits inside the hole of the bobbin, a nut, a drill and...

    LED Main Lamp Issue

If you are getting voltage the it is possibly the bulb. The Cyclopse are expensive , don't they have like a one year waranty?

    What's this actuator for?

I do not. My understanding is that it is purely emmisions related but I don't know of any down side. I is supposed to lessen the ammount of popping from the exhaust. It is also my understanding that if you still have the catalytic converter you should not remove the AIS.

    Master cylinder screw

Definitely. You can hit menards, home depot, true value or any place that sells bolts and get one/two. Take your old one and they will size it up and get you going.

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

Been emailing a bunch of places and have some responses. Here are some more optons. **Motolectric / MTC is a small independent shop that I can't find much info about. They seen me asking about shocks on another forum and messages me. They have a forum member discount code that makes the cost...

For Sale *NEW* RSV Rearsets (821)

The difference is the location of the silencer mount I believe. If you are handy with some aluminum and can make a simple hanger plate ofor an oem exhaust or if you have an aftermarket exhaust you should be good to go

    What's this actuator for?

I dont know for sure but I'm pretty sure it messes with the o2 readings. I'm sure the ecu is designed to compensate for the change but I'm going to get my bike Dyno tuned once I do velocity stacks and I'm wanting to get a solid reading. I was also thinking about adding the wide band O2 data...

    What's this actuator for?

It is the AIS system. I have a AIS delete kit sitting on my bench to install in the next few days. It included air plugs, block off plates and a wiring plug to tricked the system into thinking it's still installed. SmartMoto Electronics

    Engine replacement

There was a difference in electronics between the monster and the hyper. I'm sure that every sensor location is interchangable. Some of the hyper 821 uses the new oil pump cast into the case as opposed to the old design. Late 2015 the hyper got the cast oil plump location. The hyper single sided...

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

I have a message into Racetech. I want to see what they can do. They have a listing for the 939(actually only one year of the 939) so I'm sure they can accommodate. I'm about to pull the trigger on one but at the top of my list is the Nitron. Seems like a great bang for the buck. High and low...

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

Here you will see the 1100 rear on the. Notice the area where the notch needs to be made for the reservoir. The other 2 pics are Ohlins TTX taken from a bmw s1000rr and a gsx 1000. These are all off of bikes in Thiland. A friend lives over there and are on base bikes. Apparently the SP bikes are...

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

I'm being told that the 1100 shock fits but there is a piece of astic on the subframe that needs to be notched. It's a very small notch. I'm also told that the lengths are the same. I'll try to find the conversion and let you know

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

I just have the rear to deal with. I was weighing if I should get the kit or find an ohlins off the 1100 or bmw. Apparently they are almost direct drop ins that are budget friendly...or so I hear.
