    Remapping a Hyper 939

Right. The RB (Evo) has a setting to bypass O2 readings. Must be more to it than just O2s below 5K or the RB is lying.

    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

I don't know what year/ gen you have, but the 2013-2014s had first model generation bugs, but they were very inconsistent. I have one of the first sold in FL and never experienced the really bad issues - coils, disco dash, vapor lock. My 821 was ridden in FL/ VA downpours for 4 years and I...

    Swing Arm Axle

I don't see how water can't get in there now. Quick ride down the block working the suspension would shake most of it out, no?

    Swing Arm Axle

Would spraying it out while still assembled hurt anything?

Repairing Ducati Hypermotard ECU (Dashboard Panel)

What do you fix (specifically)? Is there a warranty or guarantee? What if you can't fix or damage it; do you replace? How much?

    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

Makes sense. I was told software patch for TPS/ APS but they could have replaced TPS, as well. It was 8 years ago so I may have forgotten the details.

    Remapping a Hyper 939

Nick, what you surmise about the difference between Touring/ Sport (actually PWR MED/ HIGH, which can be manipulated in any driving mode). Same 110 HP, dampened throttle respons in Touring/ MED. I'm with Tim, in that I live to crack the shifter down a few cogs and get an immediate launch, or...

    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

I refrain from complaining about her because most of my issues arise from something I've "upgraded". I pay the price for tinkering but I'm in this death spiral of compounding issues that I just can't seem to get in front of. I patch one thing and then another leak springs (metaphor, but dealt...

    Remapping a Hyper 939

Tim, so you are gonna try Booster with RB? I ordered one but it had to ship to my folks since I can only get USPS. The customer service rep I contacted about shipping was very prompt and engaging. I feel they have great customer support, which is always a plus.

    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

I've got "---------" dash currently. Came from power surge/spike from my starter. The post for the power lead on my starter is broken or nearly broken internally and it's a royal pain the ass. I was seriously close to hulking out and Sparta kicking the bitch on her side. My "I'll never sell...

Suitable plug spanner/ Plug gap - is it a thing anymore?

I either found the gap size online or from the workshop manual.

    939 Rough running, wont rev/accelerate

You can attempt to "clean" the O2s. Basically soak in solvent and a torch. I tried it but did nothing. Eventually replaced with a good used set. Noticed nothing. Every time I suspected O2s, it was not.

    Consistently Consuming MAP sensors

I had the random limp mode issue when my 2013 was very new. Think it went to the shop twice for it and eventually was told a TPS update fixed it. Had them stumped for a bit and wondering if there was magnetic anomaly from something interfering with the TPS pickup. Same as you both state...

Suitable plug spanner/ Plug gap - is it a thing anymore?

Maybe the old guy in me, but you should always check the gap before installing. A lot of times those little cardboard spools that protect the electrode get tossed if someone opens the package, or those flimsy packages come loose and the plug falls out, etc. The gap tools are like a buck and...

    Remapping a Hyper 939

821's suffered what many higher performance bikes that offered power modes/ traction control/ throttle-by-wire did from this era. The features were cool but, they were still working on smooth delivery. I remember journalists wanting to love hot models from KTM, Aprilia, MV Augusta but, they...

    939 Rough running, wont rev/accelerate

Protection mode will also flash the rev limiter light repeatedly at limit, which I thought was 5500. Only left field thing I can tell you to check for is pinched main fuel line. If you haven't removed the tank, probably not a factor. But I had this and it stumped me for weeks. Basically...

    Remapping a Hyper 939

Ferdi, For a minute I thought this was one of those eBay "Booster's" you plug into the powerlet port. This seams pretty legit. Anybody think this would work in conjunction with RapidBike EVO?

    CEL light randomly glowing

Moto, your misfire and backfire are probably related and probably to do with something that is affecting proper sampling to create good AFR. Good luck and hope it is the O2. Pulling the cable off the flapper will spring it to open (deleted, basically). It's pretty simple to reconnect. Very...
