You don't need pin 2. You only need pins 1 and 3 on the 3 pin connector.
I'm in process of getting logs for the IAW Reader program. Not sure how long it will take, but it is moving forward.
I do. I tried to use the reader, but had no luck. Here is what I got back from Bernd about adding support for our bikes in June of last year.
So if anybody knows how to pull the bin file from the ECU, that would be awesome.
Because I bought a set of 4 used coils, and wanted to be able to help someone here with the other 2 coils. The length is not as critical on the horizontal cylinder.
I had a cel from a bad sensor. I haven't given it a test ride yet to fully clear it. One of the sensors I got had a broken wire that I have to fix. I just got the Monster 821 sensors.
The stock sensor side wires are Purple / White / Gray / Black.
I believe it goes like this:
Purple - White Heater
White - White Heater
Gray - Black Sensor +
Black - Gray Sensor -
I have connectors and pins coming to try this myself.
The Monster owners manual doesn't state the wire colors for the sensor itself, but you can use the wiring diagram to compare to ours to get it right.
Ducati has the owners manual on their site, with nice wiring diagrams in them.
Clicky...
I'll have to dig around for the post, but someone here did find another Ducati sensor that worked. It's not the same shape, but it worked out for them.
