    Adventures in Hypermotard Tuning...

For those who don't want to fool around with the Rapidbike, Termi has a dedicated UPMAP device for our bikes now. it plugs into the diagnostic port, and you can buy different pre set maps. First one is free apparently. http://www.up-map.it/en/t800/

I wonder how the new Road Attack 3 will stack up against the rest.

    2015 Clutch Kits Now Available

Soft shoes and your foot are going to be too soft for a positive gear change.

    Unresponsive throttle

Dang, I wonder if anybody else who got one of those replacements(myself included) will have the issue rear its head again. Did you go ahead and double check your battery connections?

Did they check your throttle control unit against the service bulletin that Ducati put out quite a while ago?

FS: Andreani/Ohlins TTX 36 NH rear shock

On the Ducati site if you compare bikes, you can see the rear suspension travel. 2013-2014 Hyperstrada is 5.9 in. or 150 mm. 2015+ Hyperstrada is 5.1 in. or 130 mm. 2017 Hypermotard is 5.9 in.

What'd you do to your Hyperstrada today?

I don't know. I don't use flickr for hosting photos, so I just linked a photo from that pages code.

    low down on gearing

I think the only way to go up on the rear sprocket is to go to a 520 conversion. The only larger rear I've seen is a 46 tooth for a 520 chain with a quick change carrier.

    Cornering Question

What he said. Mostly upright, but shifting some weight into the corner to keep the bike more upright. Also keeping towards the outside of the lane for errant traffic. Sometimes there can be gravel, horse poop, or grass on the back roads. More upright in the corner is more available traction.

    DIY Timing belt change

I don't believe so. If the bearings are still smooth it should be good to go. I haven't seen our pulleys, but the bearing may be replaceable. ETA: just had a look in the parts diagram. DRAWING 008 - DISTRIBUZIONE in the engine section shows the bearings being held in with a circlip. Just...

Should be to install the CANBUS filter.

"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

The soundbomb mini is advertised at pulling 5 amps, and the bigger one is said to be 20 amps. Apparently on the KTM 1190, hooking the mini straight to the harness causes a fault because the bike only expects a 1 amp draw from the horn. Looking at our wiring diagram, it looks like the horn...

"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

That sucks! Hopefully your dealer will get some assistance from Ducati to help deal with the cost of replacement parts.
