Did you guys try to loosen the two allen under the beak and release the headlight assembly as per the owners manual? The nose assembly will hang with the dashboard cables but maybe there’s enough room for lamp replacement.
There are chinese H4 mini projectors where the beam is generated by using lenses instead of using the headlight reflector. I never tried it myself but the solution seems promising.
The workshop manual says 230cc (do not specify which leg, so I'll assume its the same for both). It seems very low for me. What did you find out while doing the oil change?
Have you take a look on the Termignoni T800 upmap? They have a map for thr oem exhaust. I have it for the full termi and the bike runs great. It cured a lot of the jerky throttle.
I find it’s harder to get to the to screws that fix the air filter that removing the tank. :D
The two at the front are bellow the rectifier and it’s a pain to reach.
I did unplug mine after map upload. It's not needed. You can keep it connected if you want to check battery status and other info (useless IMHO) that the T800 app provides.
That's great that you find out the problem! Do you know why the plastic got so damaged? Bad gasoline? Here in Brazil the ethanol percentage in gasoline is 27,5%! I was wondering if ethanol can cause plastic corrosion in the intake parts...
@apcsy78 Maybe some thing like this is what you are after?

It seems simple zener diodes that can be used to protect each can transceiver in the network. One for the dashboard and another for the ECU.
I have tried also. 2014 HYM SP. It just connected to the bike and read the odometer and few other stuff. It didn’t reset the oil change indicator and TPS reset seems to not have any effect. I think it just doesn’t work with the marelli ecu in our bikes. It did work on my brother’s monster 796...
I've been reading this thread for a while and finally I got all parts needed for the fix plus the parts for the hydraulic clutch conversion (thanks Araitim). The clutch is definitive better! I think I just got used to the crappy clutch after all this years. Launching the bike is way better now...
