I love military themed vehicles so I did a thing here. Believe it or not, I painted with spray paint and then cleared with 2K rattle clear coat. Turned out fabulous or at least I think so.

I completely removed the exhaust servo motor, flap, etc.

My battery does drain if I leave my bike for a week or longer. I'm not sure but it could be draining my battery so now that I think about it I may unplug mine as well.

I completely agree with srikz. My RSR arrived in 7 days from Italy. The air filter was missing and he made it right. I haven't been able to fully test everything because I've had my Tard down with a starter clutch. Hopefully soon I'll be up and running.

Done and done. I just put a Denso on and followed the thread here exactly. I'm now thinking that perhaps it could be bad as well as it was a used one? It sounds good, turns over quickly until the battery gets too low from trying to start it. I also replaced with Motoletric cables and a new...

Regarding this software update. Does anyone know if it may have anything to do with issues first / cold start? I have a 2013 Hyper 821 that stalls out with low rpm especially if I pull the clutch in coming to stop. My latest issue is it refuses to start until I turn the engine over 6 to 10...

I thought of that but I'm also limited to the hole size where it mounts to the motor. I think I'm going to send some emails to Denso for a replacement cap and / or try a Helicoil.

Thought I'd put on my new to me Denso 27040104A starter. Like a big dumb ass, I over torqued a bolt and stripped out one of the three bolt holes on the starter heard. Uggghhh dammit! So pissed. I guess I'm going to have to order another damn starter, son of a bitch.

I had my starter off my bike in 15 minutes. No biggie. Watch out for the hidden screw that holds the drain hoses. It has a screw in the head of it then an allen head to remove the rest of the screw that holds the engine case. I nearly got sideways as I had the case in a bind until I realized...

They are supposed to be original OEM Denso pull offs from other Ducati's. I went with Gotham as that is where the OP bought his from so seemed to be a logical choice as he took his apart and inspected it. I plan on doing the same with mine when I receive it and just got the tracking...

I've been in contact with Guiseppe Starace. I like his as well and currently have his airbox on order. I just keep gravitating back to the Kobra. The angles and look is fantastic. I'm going to make a DIY thread once I get them. They will work, I will make them! lol
