    Stanchion / inner tubes

If you're replacing the forks I'd keep an eye out for SP parts as that'd be a nice upgrade

2013 or 2014 Hyper? Open recalls on both

It's supposedly fixed with the 939, so, 2016 on I think? My 2015 got the can bus filters installed so it was still an issue then.

Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

I dig how the BMW and Suzuki shocks look!

    Side stand antics

Good to know! I had issues with that switch when I went to Pazzo levers, but it was on the opposite end, the bike thought the clutch was constantly pulled in so it'd act normal up until 8500 rpms when you'd slam into a wall as the bike tries to cut power thinking the engine is being revved to...

2013 or 2014 Hyper? Open recalls on both

I think both those years have similar known issues. The Can Protection Filter is a critical one as the lack of it can cause the ECU and or Dash to get fried. The throttle position sensor was indicated in some rough running situations. Get the bikes warm during a test ride and see how it starts...

"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

Probably depends on the dealer and whether they can do a goodwill repair. This is a known issue, but being out of warranty may be a problem. I'm not sure if the dash can be fixed by itself.

    rearsets?

Most parts from the hypermotard and hyperstrada are identical. Rearsets certainly should be.

    Starting problem, to much fuel?

Weak starter most likely, once the engine warms up it's harder to turn over. People who have replaced the starter have found that it was probably arcing as you can see scorch marks on the wiring. You can put up with it if the problem isn't that bad or replace with a better desno unit.

    Panniers for Hyperstrada 821

I suppose it could be? I always assumed it was a twist lock or something but I never actually looked into how it work so I could easily be wrong.

    Panniers for Hyperstrada 821

I didn't realize the fancy plasti-magnets had been released to the public yet :-p the only easy on and off one I am aware of uses a latch that requires a part to be added around the gas cap so there is a lip to snap the bag into. I gather it works well and I'll be honest in saying that I avoided...

Road 5 & Angel GT II

I'm still on the same set I put on back in June with around 5k on them now (I think, should have made a note of the mileage as my middle aged brain seems to be holding into data like a sieve holds water). I'd guess I'll probably be able to get another 2 - 3k out of the rear and I've not noticed...

    Side stand antics

T800 was "good enough" for me. You could check out a shop that does tunes like Openflash Performance Inc. - ECU Diagnostic and Reprogramming Tools (local ask for a guy named Shiv Pathak, or Pasta Performance (bit of a trek to Sacramento). I have also heard that in some cases it is the traction...

    Side stand antics

Mine will sometimes stall or recover and bump the revs when I pull in the clutch with the throttle fully closed and engine braking, started after a tune with the T800, my understanding is you need to reset the TPS which I haven't had done yet.

    Fuel Gauge Solution?

On rides where there is questionable access to gas stations I carry two gas cannisters (technically for white gas, but, whatever). If I run dry, conservative throttle use with those two canisters would buy me roughly 35 miles which unless I'm REALLY out there, should be enough to get me out of...

    Side stand antics

Gear position sensor shouldn't matter (I don't think). Mine was going bad on the 939 (should have gotten it replaced under warranty, but I was lazy). Bike could be in neutral but show being in 1 or 2 and that wouldn't stop it from running. I generally started it in neutral, and it was always...

    950 Headlight Transplant?

I don't think the 950 comes with LED lighting aside from the DRLs, so I'd suspect the beam patter / lighting is very much the same.

    Side stand antics

Heard them mentioned, but I don't pay much attention to south bay as the only way my bike gets to a shop is by me riding it so Catalyst is about as far as I wanna travel.
