I have never "burped" the tank; I just fill it up to the bottom of the filler and stop. I think the reason why you haven't had any problems is for both the lack of canister now and the fact that you don't fill and park. From now on I'll just fill up at the end of the stop.

It does, and it describes the effects as being the exact same symptoms I had. What made it confusing to me was that the problem always manifested itself in just one town, and always on that town. :confused:
