    Adventures in Hypermotard Tuning...

I am unsure if it would reliably work. The ECU is expecting a signal like this: And by using a resistor it will output a mostly flat line at a particular voltage (depending on the resistor value). So, maybe it thinks it's running normal and makes no changes. Maybe that voltage is on one side...

    Starace hand guards!

That guy has some skills for sure. Looks like high quality work. That said I don't really get it. You lose the integrated turn signal, some wind protection, and they just look like plastic handguards.

Ducati hypermotard wont rev 8.5 RPM

I believe htere is an 8k limit when it thinks your clutch is pulled in or when it's in neutral. Check your clutch switch and neutral terminal (back of motor)

    Forged vs cast wheel

I noticed that on my SP's marchesinis as well, the paint would wipe off easily. Whenever I was cleaning them I could see the color coming up on the rag. These wheels are very soft and fragile but sure are light!

    The Suspension Thread!!! BOOING

I am friends with one of the GEARS developers who was here for college some years back. They are enthusiasts out of Taiwan. Cool stuff.

    Starace hand guards!

I wonder how they'll look. The styling seems like something that would fit on a Husqvarna but might be too symmetrical for a Ducati?

    Headline aiming

Is that why you are running 6000-lumen auxiliary lights? LOL

I just kinda eyeball it. You can get to the screws with a long screwdriver I think.

    The Suspension Thread!!! BOOING

I know what you mean. You hit some roughness and it sends it all directly into your hands, right? I have encountered this on a couple bikes. Are there any adjustments on it?

    The Suspension Thread!!! BOOING

Most times, unless the springs are completely out of whack, the harshness can be attributed to setup, damping, friction (seal friction or binding due to fork misalignment), or geometry. A lot of stock bikes use poorly tuned cheap parts. I'm not sure of the 2014 Hyper architecture but I'm sure...

If you leave them in, they will probably foul since they wont be heated and getting covered in exhaust. It would be fine for a quick test though.

Theoretically yes, it will detect the sensor is not there and default to the open loop map.

Like I've mentioned before I would just unplug the O2 sensors if I did it again. Live with the error light and save $400+

You probably won't notice a difference. The biggest improvement is cruising speed around town. I created the fuel map with ducati performance intake.

That is pretty sweet the upmap disables the exhaust valve and O2 sensors. I bet that would be enough for most people to feel a big difference.

Starting problem time to time and few other problems

Sounds like typical starter motor failure.

    Has anyone painted their Hyper

I've seen Ducati orange in person and it's much more of a fluorescent red-orange than the truly bright orange of KTM's. I bet it would look good assuming you have a black or grey frame.
