I'm concerned mountng on mirror would make the lights very "wobbly". Would drive me crazy if I'm driving and see the lights bouncing so much. alternate location to consider is outboard of the radiator.

I have an LED bulb on my Hyper and my high beam indicator flashes when I put on my high beams. its because it thinks the high beam lamp is out due to not enough current draw.

dash LCD backlight is supposed to go on with key on. you can try starting the bike to see if if helps. you may have a loose dash harness connector.

Hmmm. Think I'd rather do the SW-Mototech Kobras if I were going aftermarket.

I used the bike master on my HS. works flawlessly. I did have to use epoxy on the inside of the grips to keep them from moving once the grips got hot. but it's fine now.

have you checked for broken/loose connections? There isn't much to the design of a heated grip: it either works or doesn't.

you can always plasti dip if you want something non-permanent.

I installed a brake light flasher and a bright led light bar to the bottom of the license plate frame that only goes on with the brake light.

that's the same configuration I use. works well, though I think this is what caused my newer samsung phone with the glass back to crack.

as far as I know, the recall only allows the CAN filter install and does not allow for a full coil replacement. Also, there have been members who still had the issues after the CAN filter service and Ihave not seen any members report issues after installing the eldor coil packs.

not sure the hot start issue is just the canister. it may be a combination of canister and the crappy starter that has heat soak issues. There is a thread on upgrading the starter in here somewhere. After taking off the canister, It still took me 2 or 3 tries to start when hot.
