Looks like you ordered the ducati cases.Though made by Givi, they only mount to the proprietary Ducati system. You'll have to get the ducati parts.

I use thin waterproofsacks for stuff that shouldn't get wet - but the bags are pretty water proof. I did get these for standby and for another set of bags on another bike: Cheap, and pack away small for when you need them.

You might be right that the TCU wasn't an official recall. I believe the TCU was only for the 2013 models. You had to bring the bike to the dealer so they could check its specific unit - no VIN type identification. Ducati has a page on their website where you can enter your vin and get a list...

One thing I'd say is that the difference between 12 volts and 13.5 is probably nothing. The system is nominally 12volts, but the alternator is generally putting out 13+. As to the pins - no idea.

I think it is an R2 with a remote preload adjuster and compression adjustment. I'll have to double check. It hasn't needed any adjustment so I haven't looked too closely. I don't do track so I didn't need the full monte.
