    There are some threads on mushy brakes. The main problem, I think, is that you are bleeding the brake lines and caliper, but not the ABS pump. The air in the ABS pump then enters the system after the bleed. I bleed the calipers to put clean fluid in, then push the pads apart forcing fluid...

    The fluffiness under 6 K, and the lack of back pressure popping are curious to me. Did you get the service records on this and whether there's ever been a valve check? The surging etc is pretty normal, but fluffy is curious.

    I've used a couple of brands of LED and never had a problem with canbus. Did have to adjust the light, but that's about it.

    How brave are you, and where are you at the time reserve comes on? LOL I've gone nearly 40 miles - I'd rather not.

    I may be the only person on earth who replaced his frozen flapper valve so it operates correctly. I camp, and this thing is not so neighbor friendly, so anything that quiets it a bit a low rpm is good with me. Also - yes - emissions - I care - so sue me.

    Didn't see this until now - My mechanic figured it out. The poster above gave good info. I would contact Nitron and go through it carefully. The strada is already low compared to the motard, so the low version is even lower. The strada is sort of an outlier, so if you say "standard height"...

    Maybe the height is due to sag settings, I think if it was a taller suspension, you'd have to replace the side and center stand.

    Just got front and rear nitron on my 13 hyperstrada. Very nice indeed - maybe a few tweaks needed, but I'm liking it very much. Don't think my bike is taller.

    it sure is a tensioner - what you described has never worked for me and I'm sort of average. But there's only 2 ways so everyone can find their bliss.
