    Front suspension question

If you have a center stand, load up the rear with weights and it will lift the front. Not sure if there's enough space to remove the suspension, but it would be straight forward to assess. I have to say that the forks are much better now - not cushy, but precise and compliant. Next will be a...

"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

I'd check with your dealer to find out if the can filter service bulliten applies to your bike - that would answer the question.

    The Suspension Thread!!! BOOING

I just got the mupo front kit put on my strada and am starting my first adventure in suspension tuning. I'm about 220lbs fully geared and the springs in my kit are .7kg/mm . Not sure what the shop set the rebound and compression to, but it felt harsh on rough city roads. I'm interpreting this...

    Front suspension question

I went with mupo because the price from Europe is around $850 delivered for the 2 fork solution. Had it installed for about $350 and I needed a front fork service anyway after 5 years of hard riding. Haven't had a chance to test it thoroughly as I just had my first real ride after getting it...

Sprockets OEM vs JT carrier n Superlite steel side by side

They continue to list the 525 damped sprocket but don't actually sell it as far as I can tell. Click on the image and it reads 520.

Sprockets OEM vs JT carrier n Superlite steel side by side

It's a good chain breaker. People mis-use stuff and then blame the stuff. Grease and easy steady pressure.... The screw link is fine - yes you can't use re-use it, but who would do that? Maybe mis-read my post. Don't know about bling - just wanted to replace the chain - but my eyes don't see...

Sprockets OEM vs JT carrier n Superlite steel side by side

Another thing - I broke the chain with the motion pro portable chain breaker - worked fine without any grinding etc.. Greased it befor using. So cheap and good. I also used the EK screw on type master link because I don't know how to rivet and wasn't interested in "if at first you don't...

Sprockets OEM vs JT carrier n Superlite steel side by side

If the chain can touch the swingarm and you've adjusted all the way out, it's time to do the deed. I went with the superlight because sprockets are easy to find for it. I remember ordering both and the JT was missing some hardware and didn't seem as well machined. YMMV I think the...

Sprockets OEM vs JT carrier n Superlite steel side by side

A couple of things: There is an o-ring behind the front sprocket that should be replaced It might not be a bad idea the replace the thin washer you bend over to lock the front sprocket in place. Kuksol used 2 as his let go. I'd like to get a front sprocket with rubber damping but no-one...

Yes - the originals. Just ordered some of the Aprilia coils. They're replacing the coils, dash and cpu as well as the the can filter. I'll ask about the new filter to see if it has been updated.

Installing Aprilia (Eldor) Coil Packs on Hypermotard/Hyperstrada

Thanks for this thread - after 37,000 miles my stuff fried. I have the canbus filter. Ducati is doing a good will repair and that is appreciated, but I think I'll do the coil switch.

"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

Mine fried after 37000 miles - Ducati is doing a goodwill repair - coils, screen, something else... Yay. Lost 6 weeks of a 6 month riding season - boo. Lost some confidence in the bike - probably do the coil swap.

Hey welcome - I've got to say Vermont is riding heaven in NE - though you know that already. This bike is made for those roads.

    Hyperstrada problem list

Ridden through rain and my bike is stored under a cover outside - never had an issue, but it might be wetter where you are!. You can easily pull the ecu connectors and look for corrosion and put some dielectric grease on the pins Might be a good idea to do this wherever you can. Assuming all...
