Does anybody know if its ok to remove the air lines on the left side of the throttle bodies? This tutorial removes the two on the right. What function are the two on the left sides? Can I remove and plug with no ill effect?

Your best bet is finding a competent mechanic that's familiar with Ducati. He will be able to fix all those issues for significantly less than your thinking. I'd do it for you but I'm in Cali.

I don't quite understand your question lol! If your asking what ive done, I've swapped the front forks, and triple clamps, rear shock, kickstand off an 821 SP onto my Hyperstrada. Everything will swap right over no problema.
Also my kickstand sensor just began failing and was causing the same engine kill symptoms I described while on freeway. Plugged up a dummy connector with jumper and it cured it. Definitely starts easier with my new sensor and it was a used part off eBay at that.
My sensor had 60k on it. It's somewhat easily accessible from the left side just remove one bolt that's a little cramped and it'll wiggle out with some persuasion. I just cut the old sensor wire so I would not have to remove things to pull it out. And I routed the newly installed sensor...
