Another symptom it cured was the slow starting! My idle was also kind of erratic and not stable. Also I had several occasions where the motor died while on free way. All lights and dash on but it's like someone hit the kill switch. It maybe was the sensor this whole time

New crank sensor and fired up like a champ even with one spark plug removed lol.

I've ordered a new crank sensor to see if maybe that's the issue. Won't be here for a few days though

Also did you torque the cam caps to spec when you measure

Did you use new collets? I believe using new collets vs the used will change the gap also

I believe the washer came from behind the magneto. There is no washer where the parts fiche calls for one. I will order the washer and compare it to my mystery piece and then reassemble. Question though, both crank bearings have what feels like play to them. Are these suppose to be this way or...
