Very strange failure on my hyper. It's got 58000 miles and I've had it since New. Always changed oil at 4k or less always at proper level. The cam ground and seized in its guide and ended up ripping the belt apart. Somehow it seized in the right spot and didn't bend valves.my question is why...

Hi could you elaborate more on this particular issue? I all because my vertical intake cam had just seized and I don't know why. It has obvious scoring and damage where it rides under the cam cover.

Hey unfortunately I don't have gear lever or guard. The break lever is slightly bent or twisted it look like. Probably from a tip over. If your is broken than it should be an improvement but don't think it's straight and perfect. I'll take 25 ship if your interested
