Fat feet! I beg your indulgence, ha ha! I gave it a close look after the photos today. The preload adjuster had some sharp edges on the ribs. Turned it 1/2 turn where the “ribs” were smooth. Will see if this, as unlikely as it seems, will alleviate the problem.

Just stumbled on this malady on my 939. Oil change, tp check, a little tlc, then-wtf? Tail light looks a bit bright! Yup, brake light on. After some fiddling, I go to trusty Hyperstrada.com. That pesky micro switch wasn’t engaged with the adjuster screw! How long I been riding with it like this...

I get it! Today it took serious steady pressure to coax into neutral before the light changed, lol!

Once I’m sure I’ve got the find neutral malady fixed, next on the list is the shock. Pre load and compression backed all the way out. I’m currently a lethargic 200lbs. Even so, ride is very harsh on all but billiard table surface. Keep these rear shock solutions coming. Very interested!

Been off the grid for three weeks. Exactly how long the bikes been at Marin Speed Shop. Took it in for the clutch switch malfunction and very rough running. So far they said they got a new switch but it was defective! Now over a week and no word yet! 2016 HS 939 btw.

Whatever the case, the bike is currently unlivable! Also, reviewing Easy Tune, the bike is sometimes is brought to “acceptable” levels, others say nay!

Ok, the break in the rain gave me a shot at wringing her out today. Actually, more like a tiptoe up to the Walmart lot. My tampering with the clutch switch circuit let me go like normal, just remember not to hit the starter while in gear! Getting the find neutral technique working quite well...
