Yep, they're actually the fourth hardest pill to swallow on these bikes.. Tucked right behind a Termi exhaust, GPS and the Tail Box.. Good luck with your search, they're really nice to have on the bike for protection and turn signal visibility.

Suspension is such an odd topic.. without knowing how you ride, your weight, tire selection, tire pressure, the road conditions.. it's VERY hard to diagnose online what everyone needs because there's just too many variables. For me, the suspension in factory form is actually quite good.. but...

There's no real differences between the non SP HM and HS besides the rear shock and the seat. You can easily convert it ecstatically to look like a HM, and yes you can sell the panniers and stuff, but they're so nice to have if you want to do a weekend camping trip.

Haha.. thanks guys. Managed to take the strada out on Mission Raceway yesterday against a whole hoard of sport bikes and the darn thing did pretty good. Although I think if I was to do it again, I'd have to remove the center stand. I was dragging that everywhere on the track.

My newest mod. I deconstructed the overly large Ducati Top Case to remove the quick release/keyed mounting bracket, and installed it on a much smaller tail bag. The bag is a National Cycle 4L rear storage compartment, and it works perfect on the bike for when I need to only carry a few items...
