Finally got around to pulling the rubber boots back on the stalks and right there are nuts that when tightened toward the mirror push the socket against the ball and voila the mirror adjustment is tightened up.

Thx, will check it out. After it sets up can you still move the mirror, or does the 601 get rubbed off?

On the other Hyper forum someone reported that some Loctite can erode plastic. Just reporting, have no idea is true. Another member suggested teflon tape, which I will try and report back. After winter let up a bit.

Any suggestions for tightening the OEM mirrors so that they will stay in position?

Thx for the pic. Hopefully the dealer will shed some light on the issue, although unless they have a wrench who has actually installed radar/gps/etc on a Hyper, they will probably refer to the shop manual, which doesn't provide an answer that I could find. Thx for keeping me posted. I looked...

Yep, Pg 261 of the owners manual shows: "Rear fuse box key (B), Pos 1: Key-optional". Now only need to know how to retain waterproofing. Gotta run, will check in later.

Let's keep each other posted as we make progress towards our common goal. I pulled the USB socket out of it's holder and there isn't very much lead to work with, and no access from underneath . I'm still hoping to find a switched source up front, but as a last resort I will tap the license...

Nope, still searching and banging the forums for a clue. Might have to tap the lead to the USB socket near the battery. Suboptimal, but not sure how else to solve the problem.

Anyone know where I can tap switched 12V power for a Clearwater lights relay? Preferably in the front of the bike as the relay leads are kinda short. I've looked behind the headlight for the alleged 'GPS/NAV' white mini plug (like the one on Multis), but no luck. Any help appreciated.

As per the Admin's request: After my Multi's big end bearing went, and Boulder Motorsports was rebuilding it, I finally pulled the trigger on the lighter Hyper that I'd been considering for a long time. Just the lighter nimbler ride I've been wanting. Fantastic for shorter (200 miles or so)...

Anyone try Rox risers? Did you have to modify any cables?

Just got the headlight upper fairing off. Here's pix of the wire loom above the headlight. The only small white plugs that have one side of the connector with a dummy plug are both marked "Grip Heather" (Italian spelling of heater), and I cannot find another one. There should be one for a GPS...

About to p[ull the trigger on an '24 950SP. How are you guys wiring switched power for radar/gps? My 1260 Multi has a small white plug under the left fairing. Is there one on the 950? Thx in advance for any advice!
