Got out and rode today. Full shift tech titanium exhaust. Open airbox lid and sprint filter with ST gizmo. Was around 60 degrees F. Idles erratically. Fuelling may be a bit better at speed. But I was on damp roads with worn out slicks and was not going to push. So.... No real noticeable...

I think the 698 is too heavy for a SuMo specific tire. When we ran Pikes Peak on SXV 550's John recommended sticking with a Pirelli slick. I think we ran 180 rears on the 550, but I'd have to check. I run a 160 on the 698. Super sticky

Rodolfo, are you racing CMRA? I used to race with them and had a garage at MSRH. I used Pirelli slicks on my Aprilia 550 and 450 SXV's back then also. John Hutchinson is your Pirelli guy for Texas.

The handlebar recall is for the rubber damper under the bar clamp.

I use Pirelli SC1 slicks on the track. Really dig them.

Are they new handle bars and chain guide? What are they doing exactly during the recalls?

No check engine light. I still haven't ridden mine since the install. Probably remove it since I have a couple recalls to go in for.

I hate dealing with Shift Tech. I've spent a ton of money with him since he had parts early last year, but his service and variable pricing is far below expectation. The gizmo was probably my last purchase. I figured for $90 WTF. Can't say I'm disappointed since I didn't expect much from him...

I'm all for fact finding. I won't get back on track until February or March to see if it runs better.

The connector does not latch. It's disappointing.

Finally received mine 13 days after ordering. ShiftTech is 1 state away from me. He ships via the cheapest UPS method and it's horrible. Easy install. Was raining and I have roached slicks on the bike from the last track day, but it started easier and idled better.

I am running open airbox lid, sprint filter and full titanium Shift Tech exhaust. Runs super lean. It gave me a check engine light. I put the full cover back on the airbox and ran a track day...... no CEL. I found this today...

I've changed my rear sprocket up and down from stock for different tracks and the transmission has worked correctly. I'm not aware of a reset. Can you provide more detail?
