Didn't think this would happen but it arrived today, almost 2 years later but it's here and I'm happy about it...

I can't say I know if it will fit but I'm confident the 1200 one is bigger than 821/939 one. I've looked at the exhaust and the 1200 is bigger...

Sounds like something I have had...mine was when my engine heat was cooking the tank and vent stopped venting...if you find the fuel cap super tight...it's the same as mine...removing the canister did help but did not totally solve it...if air is moving over the tank and engine, it's cooling...

Am I hearing I should be replacing the sprag clutch while doing the starter? Reading how the sprags fail and the starter, I'm systematic for early signs of starter failing...

Oh, airdale, that was a very desirable rate when I was in, real trouble shooting has become much rarer for sure. Funny enough I went into aerospace/astrospace after the Navy, can't plan...now I do satellites, at least until I retire and can pay real attention to all of my hobbies...take care...

As stated that CA tank won't fit our bikes, God knows I wish it would, I take a Rotopax on longer trips and have needed it twice...commuting shouldn't tap your present tank and the fuel light on mine trips WAY early...

Truth is I don't know. I never asked. Roger Albert of OnRoad/OffRoad built them. My bike is a 2014 821. Maybe by the time they got to the 939s they settled on a supplier but that's just a guess...

Good luck with that, it's not clear that they tracked any of it by serial number, when I had my forks build, he had to take them apart to know....

If memory serves, you have to check, it could be either and it affects some of Mupo parts for the kit...
