Wondering if anyone has removed the complete center stand, including the big triangular bracket? I have remove the stand but not the bracket as of yet but wonder if I need anything special (spacers?) for removal. Anyone who has actually taken the whole thing off? See pic for the brackets I'm referring to.

I left the aluminum bracket on. Makes it much easier to reinstall if I want to lift the front or rear wheel off the ground for maintenance work.

I just removed mine, it weights 2 to 3 kilograms and looks better. I was thinking in getting rid of the bracket but I decided not to. The reason, when I lub the chain or wash the bike, I just put back the center stand with out the spring, it takes 1 minute , when I finish I remove it.

Definitely gonna want to use heavy loctite if you swap it on/ off for rides. I just lost my third center stand bolt. They come with a thread locker layer but I use mine everytime I park the bike. Sucks when you rely on it.

Getting the oil changed next Saturday where the dealer will remove the bracket. It requires a could of spacers which they have in stock.

Finally got the center stand bracket off. It takes two spacers $6, two bushings $8 and a $140 plate from the HM. It was just bugging me.
