Hey all, new owner awaiting my plates because of the absurd nys dmv being backlogged for 3 weeks, but soon ill be on the road. Member of advrider and thumpertalk.
Picked up the bike used with only 2900 miles on it. Though it didnt come with bags, so i picked those up second hand. Is there a work around with the locks to install them without getting them rekeyed?
Akrapovic slip on, but no warning lights so im assuming no midpipe upgrade, as o2 semsors are intact. Is that something i can change later with a delete, and upmap?
Either way cant wait to ride

Welcome and congrats on the low mile find. Sucks about the bags as they are not cheap. If you have the key barrels that match your key, not hard to replace them. You can search about "pannier/ luggage lock".

Base upgrade for basic upmap tune is slip-on (or full) and sport air filter. You don't mess with the O2's. If you mess with the flow any further (full exhaust, cat delete), you'll need a dedicated tuner or re-flash.
 
Hi Droozy,

I have a set of givi panniers on mine. They dont look quite as sharp as the originals, but are both locked to the bike and locked closed to keep your stuff fairly safe. And, being hard plastic - I'm hoping they're pretty watertight too. Givi might even sell a full luggage addon rather than you hunting for original mounting brackets etc.
