ABS dash light

Is it normal on other Hyperstrada's that after you start the bike and you're stationary that the ABS light is on steady.. then you start to move forward then it goes out until you stop again?

Yep it tends to stay on till the bikes doing about 10ks...and the ABS is functional. It's mentioned in the manual....

My ABS light is on when I first turn the bike on and goes off once you reach around 3 MPH. It does not come back on for the rest of the time I am riding the bike, until you cut it off and go through the process again. If your ABS light is coming on every time you stop, presumably like when stopping at a stop sign, then I don't think that is normal.

Same as cars. Doesn't extinguish until it passes system test.

awesome thanks everyone. Boy this bike is sure a sack full of smiles.. even without being able to rev the motor I'm absolutely amazed at the tractor pulling power the motor exhibits.
