I put a down payment on my Hyperstrada in late November. Hawaii dealer says the bike will not arrive until late April or early May. I believe I will be the first Hyperstrada owner in Hawaii. I ordered the red one...though the white looks awesome. My first Ducati...I am sure that it will not disappoint. Previous bikes include BMW R1200c, Kawasaki GPZ750, Suzuki Katana, Honda Bird of some sort, Suzuki 450, '72 BMW with the toaster tank and piece of **** Suzuki 100 that I did my newspaper route with in the late 70's when I was in high school. I'm pretty certain that this will be the best bike that I have ever owned!
Welcome volcanic (love the name)! The Hyperstrada will be my first Ducati also. I almost bought a Diavel, but then heard about the 'Strada and feel like its the perfect bike. Light weight, 110hp, nice looking bags (if you need 'em), and just good looks. I currently have two bikes, one of which is a Honda bird (Nighthawk 700 S). Can't wait for the first few reviews to come out, hopefully soon.
