An issue with heated grips

Hi guys, my HS 939 has the Ducato heated grip and the left-hand grip has just stopped working. The right-hand one is working fine on all 3 settings.

Is this a problem anyone has encountered and it is possible to fix without having a get a new set?

have you checked for broken/loose connections? There isn't much to the design of a heated grip: it either works or doesn't.

I've only had time installed for a few months so no issues. I'd see if the dealer can take a look and or warranty it if it's not too old.

Thanks everyone, will have a nosey and try and check for loose cables.

if its only the left and not covered under warranty, then this does the job perfectly, although the grip pattern is different. fitted to mine and works fine.

Update - stripped down the front (cowl, headlight, screen etc) and found the plugs. Stuck a multimeter into to test if power coming through and managed to blow a fuse - the bike was running and head light went out (led lights still working) and dash gone blank... HELP! Tried the fuses under the seat in the black rubber box and they all look ok.

Try the fwd fuse box behind left side fairing. It's mounted to a vertical frame bar around where your left knee rests. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE FAIRING OFF TO ACCESS IT!!! You can simply slide it up, it will come off the locking tab, then pull aft and the clamp will release. It will make sense once you have it free. I know the #4 fuse kills the bike dead, but my dash worked.
