The relatively new Avon Trailrider is well suited to the Hyperstrada. Its a 90/10 tire with deep tread for some grip off-road. My use was about 2,000 miles of chip & seal paved backroads.
The roadway grip is good, even in the rain. Probably better that the Scorpion that came with the bike.
At 2,000 miles I think the center wear portion is right at time to change tires.
Next time it will be the new Metzeler Roadtec 01. Maybe it will be a tire that can last 3,000 miles?
