Bike was killed last week.

Had a guy do some crazy weird **** in an intersection and turn 90 degrees into me.

Bike is totaled. I have a scrape on my leg.

Sad day all in all. Insurance is taking care of me and I already bought a multistrada to replace the mono. (I know. Huge change. I have other supermotos though. Just converted a TE300 over to sumo.


anyway. Was probably traveling around 20 mph when we hit. I steered the bike into him to let the hike take the brunt of it.

forks bent. Oil was spraying out of all sides of the engine when I tried to start it. Stuck in maybe 2nd gear? Shifter got smashed into the seal and that was the major leak.


in the photo of the street with the cones: my wife and I were in the far left lane divided by cones heading towards the camera with a green light. She was on her Ducati in front of me.
He came out of the parking lot in the far right lane. Couldn’t change lanes to the left because of the cones so drove to the intersection and then did a hard left. Tried to make the left turn behind my wife as she passed through the intersection not realizing I was right behind her.

Anyway. I’ll probably get another mono when I’m tired of maintenance on the race bike.

Also, I have a race seat I don’t need anymore if anyone wants to make an offer. I’m located in Houston. I will ship if buyer pays.
Local would be easier. Willing to make a deal. Don’t need it.

I did have it flashed with the map, but the bike is in the insurance lot now.
I tried to go take the exhaust off, but I would have had to give up the $3k they paid me for it as a covered accessory.

Sad face. I would have bought that.
