Hi guys....better late than never I hear you cry. Was looking for £8500 ex-demo on best plate I could find but ended up with 2015 new bike for £8999.. chuffed.

Rode it back from dealer yesterday and there's some fluid splashes on the rear mudguard and silencer.....looks like rear reservoir has lost a little fluid but lid/hose connection are both okay.....I'll clean it off and keep an eye on things.

Key fit is very tight and notchy and is giving issues in ignition and a real pain in luggage which is also v.hard to remove but I've got a superb textile bag which I'll be using. Bit different to GS I had last but good in all the ways I wanted. I ordered heated grips which work off the start button which impressed me, the factory tank bag is also excellent. I'll be fitting rad and sump guard and tail tidy but otherwise it's ace.. Anybody fitted hand guard extenders?

Congrats!

A little dry lube on the mounting catches on the bags will fix the tightness, and some lock lube (teflon - maybe triflow brand) will get the locks loosened. They're nice bags.

never had any problem with the bags during my week long trip around scotland, maybe a bit of lube might help. i bought a cheap non ducati top box off ebay and just bolted it straight onto the rear grab bar which gave me more storage , i also have the waterproof bag inners as the bags themselves are not very waterproof . enjoy.
