I know the front brake line hoop bothers some folks, and here's proof that it can be "deleted". Was watching a shift tech video today (tail of the dragon, I think) and noticed that they managed to reroute front brake lines. Turns out that setup was also in place for photos on their page for the full titanium exhaust system, but it's not clear what was done from those photos, or if there are any trade offs involved.

There is also a little tail bag on the back of the seat, which could definitely hold a garage door opener. :)

Interesting…. I also notice the entire rear shock system is all black. That’s something I’m definitely considering because the yellow is an eyesore in my opinion. I recently wrapped my forks black because I wasn’t a fan of the gold IMG_3767.jpeg

It's funny about the gold. I have never liked it until the 698. Now I add gold bits at every opportunity. I don't think I'd do it on any other bike.

They sell a kit for it ST4079 LOOP FREE STAINLESS BRAIDED BRAKE LINE KIT FRONT HYPERMOTARD 69

I didn't think that part listing wasn't there on Wednesday, but I didn't realize how many pages of parts they were listing for the 698. The standard setup doesn't bother me, and I do use it as a suspension/wheelie indicator, but I also like the cleaner look and suspect this could sell well for these guys.

I do like the bike blacked out (especially the DLC fork sliders that nobody seems to notice) and I think it looks rugged, but I also like the gold anodizing and wonder if it might look good on the wheels and swing arm.
