Can somebody suggest a good bulb?

My dipped beam has just gone out. I have no idea what's good in terms of bulb technology these days (not that I need it with kuksul's lights on there, I swear I could see straight through the colour black with those things pointing at it) but I'd still like the brightest thing going. Even if it's just to make me a bit more visible to those pesky London drivers...

This is what I used. Fits perfect and no FAN. Light beam is as good as the stock halogen but brighter

I'd look for a 65W halogen around 4000-5000K color temperature.

And I'd be careful with putting a higher wattage than stock bulb in there. Could be a fluke, but when I put in the same Hella 100/80w bulb that I also used to use in my KTM and Triumph, it burned up the socket and melted the wiring.

Once I replaced the socket, I went back to this more or less stock bulb:

The 'strada is an H4 fitting right?

Yeah, it's an H4 in there. I wouldn't go for that specific bulb though as you can see it has a blue filter wrapped around it, reducing output unnecessarily. Your eyes are most sensitive in the yellow to green part of the spectrum anyway, so blue light 'feels' bright but is less efficient as illumination.
