caught in the rain

Since I've had the HS, I've been caught in the rain no less than three times. I went to Spain for a couple of weeks at the end of June, but I'm back now, trying to get the duc run in. I'm thinking of calling her agua-cati, since she seems to be a rain magnet. Today, I was 15 mi from home, and the road I had to take was a horrible, narrow, too steep pig path of a detour which was supposed to be closed last week. Normally, it's a great moto road, but with the rain, even in urban, there were a few spots I just had to crawl and hope for the best. The traction control did it's job like a champ, and my caution born of experience did the rest. Once I get the gloves and jacket dry, I'm off to work her out again! Did I mention that I love this bike?

Man, been meaning to start one of these. I love her in the rain! She is so confident in the rain (urban mode with any standing water) that I will not stray from the Pirelli's. I can't imagine how much lever you'd have to pull to make the front tire slide, and I've had some panic brakes in the wet.

Literally, every time I rode over the past 3 weeks I've hit rain, including 200 miles worth to dealer and back. The calmness and civility proves this truly is a do-all bike, though I can't speak for any off road more than my front lawn.

Same here for the rain.. It has been endless T-Storms, day after day.. The worst ride so far was from last week. The rain was so intense, and my Rukka **** Tex outfit didn't stand a chance.

As for the bike, I flew down the highway at about 90-100 without any issues. At one point my foot slid off the peg and occasionally the traction control light flashed in Touring mode. Still, the bike definitely provoked confidence during the ride.

Agreed! I did an hour and a half in a driving rain storm on the freeway and not a problem!

I didnt get wet either my Klim gear and Sidi boots kept me dry!!
