Center stand off

A couple times I draged the center stand in some curves, I got rid of it . I left the bracket , looks funny but I decided not to remove it. Every time I need to wash, lub, and long term storage I just put it back not using the spring it takes 2 minutes to put it or remove it.

I love my center stand. I'd probably take my side stand off before the center.

Are you guys riding lows or something? I had my previous tires scrubbed all the way to the edge and never drug the stand. Only time I did drag it was a very near low-side that DTC saved me from. I keep my rear pre-load pretty high, too.

only time I remove mine is for track days, I make use of the center stand a lot, chain maintenance is a breeze especial when on tour.
I'm on a low an get the bike over, I have the rear pre load wound up, but not fully.
Only time it dragged the road was fully loaded with camping gear on a twisty road with a sharp dip, think most bikes would have scrapped something.

One of the first things I did too. I'm short and it was in the way of being able to get to the side stand. Plus in the way when doing a track day. It's easy to put back on without the spring if I need to lift the bike for what ever reason.

Mine is removed as well. got in the way of the side stand making it a PITA to get down

So no issues with stock rearsets and pegs on trackdays on a low model? Mind if I ask if you're less than 155 lbs without gear? I'm always worried about leaning too much for fear of grinding something on my low 2015 because of the postings from others on low models trying to raise the ride height, and they even had rearsets but were still touching down. Then again they were much heavier.

I dragged toes early on mine but upgraded the suspension early in my ownership, which raised the bike so no center stand dragging but I still had to move my pegs up (Rismo) and changed my toe pegs as well, which fixed their dragging as well...
