Clear CEL when running without Lambda/O2 sensor.

One can a tune or using the REXXER to disable the O2 completely. But it seems another way was to put a 330 ohms resistor between the heater pins. With my short testing (in the parking lots), put a 330ohms resistor between the heaters pins does indeed clear the CEL. SInce I don't have the m12 x 1.25 bolts to plug the O2 port, i haven't take the bike out for a ride to test if the CEL come on. According to the net, some bike need another resistor across the O2 pins. Sorry to bring up old topic if this was mentioned in past.

Finally got some bolts to block the o2 ports. I ran the bike with and without the 330 ohms resistors. It seem you need four 330 ohms resistors to not have the CEL come on. One across the two heater pins and one across the o2 sense pins. During riding with the resistors in. The bike seems to Struggle when idling. I will have to do more testing with different resistor value.

Also found this product by SmartMoto to delete the O2 sensors. Their other kits seems to just be connectors with resistor on the end.

I have been testing with and w/o the resistors for a few hundred km now. And I think the “struggling” idle I experienced is normal. The “struggling” or maybe roaming rpm originally reported only occurs on cold starts. It will roam from 1600-1800. The roaming RPM happen with and without resistors. Once at operation temp, the bike will idle at constant 1400. So 330 ohms resistors are good enough. The resistor across the heater might need to be a higher wattage. Maybe 2w or 5w to soak up the heat.
For now I will run my bike with these resistors to get rid of the CEL. I might source some connectors to make it a little water tight.

Disclaimer: I am doing this on my own bike and understand the risks this involve. i.e. personal injury, damages to my bike, etc.
Anyone thinking of emulating this procedure should be also be aware of these risk and that I am not responsible for what happen to your bike.

I bought these last month and i get CEL On and we checked from Rexxer Software and its coming from these O2 sensor eliminator. it does not give the same value as Stock readings so its throwing errors. even on idle, its rough and you can hear small pops coming from the exhaust. I cannot send them back because shipping from Philippines (where im from) is much more expensive than those O2 Sensor Eliminator😪

Don’t know what the rating of those smart Moto resistors are. Or how many they use. Try checking the resistances of the plug with a multimeter. As mentioned, I used two 330 ohms resistors in each sensor. One to trick the heater circuit and one to trick the o2 sense circuit.

Which pins are the heater pins and which are the sensor pins? I have these eliminators too and can give you the values if you know the pin out

Looking straight at the plug where the pins are. With the four pins at the top and three notches at the bottom. The left two pins are the heater. The right two are the o2.
