Considering putting my Ohlins from my totalled 1100s onto my Hyperstrada

Has this been done before? Or has anyone put an Ohlins on the rear off another bike?

If the length can be adjusted, then it could be an excellent decision. The Ohlins can be rebuilt and revalved to work better than the Sachs OE shock. Call Fast Bike to see what they say.

The best thing is it was recently already rebuilt for my weight. Less than 1,000 miles ago. From what I'm seeing it will fit, but need some time to tackle the project and a hand from a friend. The mounts seem like they're going to be "fun" to get to.
