Cuts out

My 2014 Hypermotard will occasionally just cut out for a second then resume running normally. It doesn't seem like fuel running out, it's like the key is turned off then back on. Seems to do it more often when cruising at a fixed rpm, but not at any certain rpm. Did it once while accelerating.
Anyone experience anything like this?

I had a bit of a similar issue. It was a bad splice in my forward fuse box, the #4 slot to be specific. Are you sure it's not just stalling or slipping into neutral?

How did you find that bad splice?
It happens at cruising speed 4000- 6000 rpm. Also, been riding for 50 years (and with an AHRMA National Championship) so pretty sure its not stalling or in neutral.

Congrats. I found the splice because it was my ****** work. Tapped the fuse box while I was powered down at speed and it fired back up. My issue had nothing to do with speed.

I ask about neutral/ stalling because there was an early issue with the 1st gen software. Mine would stall in the upper gears between shifts. If it's none of the things I'm talking about, you have a new issue.

I had a problem with the neutral switch wire having a loose connector and not letting it start. Do you know, if that's loose again, will it kill the bike while riding? I suppose I could try, but I'll ask first. There's a hot pipe there.
I found that old problem thanks to this site.

Also, I don't believe any of the updates/recalls have been done.
