On the long heated grips thread you can see my correspondence with Ducati NA. Latest update last week was that they located in-stock items at Reno's Powersports and told me to buy these and they would cancel my order through Duc Pond Motosports (where I purchased the bike). They also mentioned that they did not have a delivery date for the next production lot.

So I purchased from Reno's. Today my grips arrive from Reno's Motorsports in the mail to me and the ones I ordered with the bike through Duc Pond arrived at the dealer as well. Aaah, gotta love the Italian supply chain.

So, Reno's Powersports have another set on the shelf (as of last Monday), part number 96680091A at $294.70 plus shipping.

Once I have informed Duc Pond that I no longer need the set they ordered for me, those should be available as well.

Well looky here mine finally showed up! Had them fitted at the stealer Saturday as it was included at the time of purchase of the bike back in May!! I got to say well done Ducati! High means High!! I had some very Hot hands on my way in this morning in 35 F degree weather, thought about switching to medium but was relishing the moment too much!

Congrats Jerdog, hope mine are in soon, I can wait till jan, cos i'm back at work till then. But would like them fitted when I get home. I will be a little pissed off if they aren't in stock by then.

Can you make some pictures please?
Like to see the differance, if there is, with 'normal' heated grips.

There is No difference between the stock grips and the Ducati Heated grips in looks size or style. Except for the two little wires running off they look Identical

You are fast!

Some heated grips have nasty big wires, dont like that.

Mine came in last week and I had them put on Saturday also. I only got my bike at the end of September so I didn't wait nearly as long as some of you.

They're really great to have nopw but it would have been nice if they added an indicator on the gauge cluster when they're on.

I thought the same, but wouldn't it suffice to give the start button a quick tap
to bring up the display (without changing the current setting)?

I really haven't need ed mine that much, but we have some really cold, nasty weather coming in, so maybe I'll get more opportunity to use them before Spring.
