As the dead coil-dash-ecu problem appears to be due to transients I am wondering it is worth wiring in some transient protection devices: e.g.http://www.littelfuse.com/~/media/electronics_technical/application_notes/tvs_diodes/littelfuse_automotive_circuit_protection_using_tvs_diodes_application_note.pdfThis could be wired in across the main fuse to ground.Thoughts ?
