Hey everyone I am ready to purchase one, but not sure what a fair price is . All dealers I go to show me the MSRP of 13295. Wondering if any of the owners here have some input.
thanks

It's tough to do much better than that. I wouldn't pay any of the freight, setup or delivery crap that they often try to add on. Try to get good discounts on some accessories or clothing. Maybe get your first service thrown in.

I wasn't able to get a discount either. New bike, good demand, only two dealers around Seattle. Ducati sells moves a lot of bikes in the Pacific NW so there is not much of an incentive to discount. They may do some on last year models though.

Our dealer will give 20% discount on any ducati merchandise bought with a new bike and free fitting, incl heated grips etc.

Discounts on extras is way to go

With the demand for these they do not need to bargain. I bought termo exhaust, GPS, top case, taller windscreen, Sidi boots, and they discounted everything. That is where I tried to max discount is on relationship etc, keep me discounted and I will continue to get extras there, fluids etc. Over time, 15-20% adds up, no shipping!

You want a deal on a brand new model that's in high demand to the point that some of the dealers can't get enough of them? That's hilarious! If you want a deal, wait for a year or two until there are more than enough on dealers floors and then maybe one of them will deal. If you want it right now, look at it this way: The KTM 990 SMT is $13,995 and doesn't come nearly as well equipped as the Hyperstrada, so for $700 less you're getting more bike. I love my Hyperstrada and didn't blink at paying full MSRP for it. A bargain, IMO.

Ya my dealer wasn't dealing on this bike, but that was OK with me. I really didn't expect it being its first year out. But I did get a couple of coffee mugs and tee sheets thrown in and 10% off parts.

Thanks for all the answers

I guess you are right, I will have to suck it up and pay the MSRP. My main problem is that I NEVER, said NEVER paid the asking price on any motorcycle I have owned, and the number is around 15 or so. Anyway, there is always a first time for everything. Thanks much for all the responses

Got the call from my dealer today. My red hyperstrada arrives on Monday. I am paying MSRP plus shipping and assembly.....about 15000 total....to rub salt in my wound, the dealer said that he would let me know how much it would cost me to install the ducati alarm that I purchased from them at full price. Please let me know dealers that charge only MSRP...my next ducati will be bought from the continental US....shipping is under a thousand.

Got my red hyper on Tuesday. Paid MSRP plus plus as well. No regrets. Bike is awesome! Only perk was 20% off accessories. I'll be bringing it to Hawaii late summer/early fall and can't wait to ride there year around.
