after few month waitting, I finally got my strada! Really excited! Ride it home! what a change!Super smooth as a ducati!

few questions! i have a bit trouble get in netural⋯⋯ i guess it is becuz its a new bike?

Also, i swapped out the stock Pirelli Angel GT tire (Chinese version comes with these)for Michille Pilot power 3 for better grip! Oddly, there is no recommended tire pressure on my bike's frame like ducati bikes from other countries"¦ Can anyone be kind enough to tell me the tire pressure for my bike?(i live on the very south of China, which is a tropical island)"¦

And mod list already started, already installed evotech frame slider

next step:exhaust! debating between Akra and SC, what you guys think?

here are a few quick shots in the undergroud parking ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439741486.731298.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1439741496.935663.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1439741508.018042.jpg

neutral

Congrats on the new bike. =D

Some people have reported a lot of trouble finding neutral. Mine is pretty easy to find. Maybe a setup issue with shifter?

The test bike I rode had the clutch friction point way out near the release of the clutch lever, but on my bike it's right in the center. I'm guessing setup issue again.

Only annoying issue I had was a neutral between 5 and 6th gear. I had to hold the shifter longer & with more pressure to fix.

Well done :)

The Evotech slider is a good addition. I dropped my bike at standstill and I reckon it saved me many dollars. Try the raditor and engine head guards....they work very well and easy to fit.

I'm running Michellin RP4s and am running front 36 psi and rear 38 psi...it's winter here and we see temps down to 2-3 degrees C early in the morning and daily max of 20 degrees.

Enjoy :)

do you know how to adjust it? or should the dealer know?

Congrats on the bike. Usually difficulty finding neutral is due to clutch cable setup. Just turn the screw adjuster out on the clutch lever perch and find the point that it disengages easily.

thanks for the advice mate!

Since i live in a place thats rarely drop below 18 degree C, my tire pressure should be slightly adjusted higher or lower?

you mind show me a pic where i can adjust it? id love to do it myself

nice bike! i have some trouble finding neutral too, will check out the clutch adjustment.

are you in Hong Kong? I'll be there in a month! always thought a bike would be the only vehicle to own there!

not in hk! let me know how the adjustment go

My Strada tends to not want to shift down to neutral if I don't downshift as I slow down; I tend to find myself still in 4th at the stop. If I anticipate the stop and downshift properly it's no problem. Our new KTM 390 Duke is worse, though. It should get better with miles.

Those tire pressures sound a bit high to me, the manual specifies 2.5 bar front and rear (36 psi) but I have always run 33 - 34 front and 34 - 36 rear. The condition of your roads may call for a bit more.

With my tire pressures those I've suggested above are for winter....so early morning starts and cool days. I usually leave home around 6 on the weekends and it can be quite cool. Tires really don't heat till there is sun on the road...

I will drop them a couple of psi once the weather starts to warm. And road conditions do impact pressure...I'm mainly on b roads and the last thing I want is a pot hole to flatten the side walls and potentiall damage to the rims.

Be interested in any one elses thoughts?

i do not understand why someone changes a new Angel GT to another street tire when not used on track.
Angel GT is a fantastic tire for daily use and lean angles until everything scratches. My brake pedal is half away from a trackday on a small circuit and the Angel GT was excellent. ok, temps wer not too hot, about 20-25°C.

tire pressure written in manual is 2.5/2.5 alone, and 2.5/2.9 fully loaded.

basically i use 2.4/2.6 - 2.7 without changing pressure when driving alone or with wife on passengerseat. no problem with that.

the reason i replaced the angel to pilot power 3 is that i already find a buyer will buy my stock angel tire almost same price as my pilot power 3 tire"¦ so there is no financial lost there, secondly, it is for sure that with the dual compund i will get better grip especially with the year-round hot weather here (i live a tropical island). i feel i lose nothing and gained a lot by replacing it =)

by the way -Angel GT is also dual compound.

i suppose you understood that my listed tire pressures are bar/kpa
