I recently changed the front tire and in doing so pushed the caliper pistons all the way in. After the wheel was back on and the pistons reset, I zip tied the lever for a few hours. The brakes seem much firmer and the double pump thing is minimized.I think that the abs circuit has to be cleared by pushing the pistons open - this procedure is called for in the manual, though without explanation. Basic bleeding will not remove fluid/air from the abs circuit.I don't have grabbiness - and i'm using the original pads. Perhaps cleaning the rotors with alcohol on a scotch pad will help. I use the brown scotch pads which are made for metal. I use alcohol because it's less volatile and nasty than brake cleaner and it does the job.
