Hi has any one refinished a set of Hyperstrada front forks? the anodized finish on my sliders is badly scratched and I would like to change the colour to black. Has anyone had theirs hydro dipped or powder coated or re-anodized? Or is there an alternative front fork used on another bike?

Sorry my description was not the best! what part of the fork I am talking about is the fixed aluminium tube that the active steel stanchion slides in. The forks a perfectly serviceable with no leaks it is a cosmetic make over the aluminium fixed tube is what I am looking to do.

I eventually bit the bullet and I ended up painting the forks with gloss alloy wheel paint. I am pleased with the result it just took a bit of preparation to key the anodizing with emery cloth prior to painting.

do you have before + after pics? would love to see. :)

Hi I dont have any before pictures but they were pretty badly scratched. The lower half of the slider I have wrapped them in sign vinyl To offer more protection again road gravel etc.
