Turkey vulture out in the back roads of KY.

Loosened the right side mirror, and broke the hand guard.

No sooner than i had turned around and stopped, his buddies were circling overhead.

He hit the guard, then rolled up to my arm and bounced off my shoulder pad.

Wow, that was lucky. Others may have crashed in that situation, given the size and weight of that bird.

Suddenly makes me feel better about my crazy expensive DP hand guards where that broken part is made from sturdy metal.
