Hello. I do not currently own a Ducati. I own (2) bikes, a Triumph Rocket and a Suzuki DR650SE.

I am looking at a adventure style bike. Triumph, BMW, Yamaha, Aprilia, Agusta, KTM, and Ducati are a few examples on my short list.

I like the new motor design and displacement size on the hyperstrada. I also like the price compared to a multistrada.

I hope to learn more on this website to make an informed purchasing decision.

Thanks-Alan Robert

Welcome Alan,
I'm very interested in this bike also. The first time I saw it, I loved the HP, low weight, upright seating, luggage which I think flows well with the lines of the bike, and overall looks (still getting used to the little "beak").
On the 24th I will finally get to see it in the flesh and the IMS. Can't wait!

I am looking at the Adventure type bikes too. My main use will be to commute to work with a few group rides. I don't plan on taking it off road though. If I want to do that I would buy a second less expensive bike. I had been looking a the Triumph Tiger 800 roadie but liked the Ducati Monster I had. So figured I would go Ducati again. Plus I like being different. Multi's are nice but way more bike than I need. So can't justify the expense. You have a nice list there. I think it will be hard to try and narrow that list down, those are great bikes.
