Has anyone managed to removed this?

I'm looking at getting the front mudguard from a hypermotard (the version that only covers half the wheel)
However I'd like to keep the white fork protectors (?) from my current Hyperstrada front mudguard.

Does anyone know how to remove these white pieces? They look to be glued or fused with heat.

I don't want to break anything.

Ideas?

I haven't removed them, but if it's glue holding them together, heating it up will likely break the bind.

Steam will break an epoxy bond. Turn the tea kettle up and let the steam from the Whistler heat it through.

@gatdammit found this from a "˜15 hypermotard but can only find it in red. If anyone has a link to a white one that'd be great.

Local dealer was actually helpful today, ordered this (in white) as the 2017 Hypermotard 939 has this part.
Means I get to not need to ruin the original which is nice.

Were you guys able to change the front fender without removing the front wheel? It's looking like I'll have to remove the front wheel in order to change it.
